If you want to travel safely and confidently in the backcountry, Buena Vista Mountain Adventures (BVMA) is here to support you. Based in Buena Vista, Colorado, we operate throughout the Sawatch Range and the central Colorado Rockies. We offer AIARE avalanche courses such as AIARE 1, Avalanche Rescue, and AIARE 2, along with guided backcountry skiing and splitboarding, cross country skiing, and snowshoe tours. We also offer wilderness medicine courses including Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and Wilderness First Aid (WFA). BVMA is an AIARE provider, an A3-accredited educator, and a SOLO wilderness medicine provider delivering professional backcountry education and guided adventures in the Heart of the Rockies.
